Mindful Messages : Mental Chatter and your True Inner Voice

Anyone else have mixed messages inside the chatter of your mind? 🙌🏻 Some of these Voices can interfere with your daily life and discourage you from stepping into your truth, your dharma, your true purpose. The deeper you listen and tune in, the quieter those voices will become.....

Love this article from Daily Om about the Voices inside our heads and finding your True Inner Voice

The Universe has your back

When you are feeling low, cranky, things aren’t going your way, or life seems mundane…

When life seems hard don’t forget where you come from, how unique and special you are, YOU were created with intention! Worries seem to get a whole lot smaller when we put things into perspective.

Solstice Offerings...

Hello Summer!

There is something so sweet about the transition to Summer. Stepping outside to those beautiful days of sunshine upon your face, birds singing, music blaring out car windows, and when your feet hit the sand for the first time at the beach! How can we welcome this new change better than honoring Summer Solstice! A time for celebrating the longest day of the year and our entry into those gorgeous Summer months to come!

Throughout history, many cultures associate the Summer Solstice with a renewal of Spirit, Mind & Body, as well as a celebration of joyfulness and fun the sunshine evokes. Many hold ritual significance during this time of year, the Solstice is a time to celebrate the light of consciousness within ourselves and within each and every person, to reflect upon the potential for consciousness to awaken.

What will you awaken and stir up inside, as you indulge in these Summer months to come?  What better way than to honor this shift than with devotion and movement, through an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word ‘Yoga’ derives from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness.

Come join us in this celebratory practice either in the comfort of your own safe space at home or with a Complimentary Session of 108 Sun Salutations on the International Day of Yoga ~
June 21st

Moving from ordinary to auspicious...the number 108 has many important and symbolic meanings in diverse disciplines ranging from mathematics to religions and spiritual practices, martial arts and yoga.

The act of practicing 108 Sun Salutations draws together some very potent yogic practices.

  • Bhakti - devotion
  • Seva - Selfless service
  • Tapas - effort, heat, discipline, zeal.

So, why practice 108 Sun Salutations?

There are time we may feel disconnected or drained spiritually, (winter can do this for sure!) this is a practice to build heat within our body - burning away what is not serving us and giving us a burning desire to serve others; to make an impactful difference; to act upon which we stand for; to embrace and surrender towards our higher purpose. Transforming the mundane to the beyond....

Count your Blessings

I’m a worrier. I don’t know if it was in my genes or I was raised to be (Nature vs Nurture ? I will never truly know..) but it has debilitated me to think awful thoughts and make poor choices.. Over time, I have trained myself to focus on the positive, the gifts I’m blessed with-it’s not hard when things are going all dandy, but throw in those dreary moments and all that hard work goes to sh*t..I try my hardest not to focus on the bad or wrong. I try to see the good in all, what went right, but we are human and all of us experience those human moments where we explode, vent, cry, scream, and shame ourselves for all the mistakes, the could’ve’s and would’ve’s, the how come’s..... It happens and you are forgiven, it’s normal to feel this way. But it doesn’t truly help you find the solution you are seeking.. so, if you are anything like me, I encourage you to count your blessings. Think about all the good you have been given.. even down to the smallest thing, and those worries do start to melt away, you realize in the grand scheme of things they are silly or not worth worrying in the first place. When I pray, meditate, practice yoga I begin to separate my human self away and awaken to a deeper understanding of life. All is as is meant to, so what’s the point in worrying?

Mindful Affirmation

Conscious Affirmative Centering Thought

"I am in my greatness to connect to my inner strength. I am strong, I am brave, I can do anything I set my mind to. I choose to live a life of ease through my struggles and challenges, embracing them to help me grow. Through my strength I Shine."

Affirmations speak your inner truth, or at least convince yourself when you are in doubt. Repeat these words with conviction, affirm this mindful message into your reality and watch yourself blossom into who you are destined to become.

True Transformation

Falling spiritually and picking ourselves back up again is how we create true spiritual transformation.. Looking back at some of the beginning writings of when i was guided on this path..it is always a journey, it never ends, and no one said it’s always easy, we all must do our work. Those that come into your life are no coincidence, they are your greatest teachers, they are there to test you and keep guiding you to becoming your best (or worst) version of yourself, you choose... Someone once told me, “You can’t control Life but you can control how you respond to it”. That holds such power. Keep nourishing and feeding your soul. We are one as we are held in the invisible divine.
