At Soul Center, all members of the community are welcome to enroll in classes where their health and well being are our focus. We offer multiple types of Yoga catered to all ages and needs, with qualified instructors for any level and all body types. Specialty Classes (COMING SOON) include Youth Yoga, Kids Yoga, Senior, and Special Needs.
ALL LEVELS-MIXED VINYASA FLOW
Early Morning is widely recognized as the best time to practice, to warm up the body, boost your energy, reduce stress hormones, increase mental clarity, and creates better sleep patterns. What better way to start the day!
Our Vinyasa Mixed Flow is for all levels, our instructors are trained to teach in progression so that there is a variety of poses accessible for all body types, no matter where you are on your mat. This dynamic flow works all the dimensions of the Spine, increasing flexibility, strength, balance, and alignment. Each Asana (posture) is accompanied with deep breathing techniques to help purify internal heat, from the Core "Soul Center", calming the mind and relaxing the body.
Classes start with the traditional Sun Salutations followed by a flow of postures suitable for all levels and concludes with floor postures and deep relaxation (Savasana).
Vinyasa Flow will leave you feeling refreshed to take on the rest of your day!
This class is geared to synchronize our breath (pranayama) with an affirmative mindfulness practice weaved in with movement. This liberating practice will lift you up energetically while strengthening your body. Followed by a deep relaxation techniques to fully allow you to melt into your restorative postures. Soul Flow classes will leave you feeling calmly recharged and powerfully refreshed, offered in 60-75 min classes.
Truly let go and indulge to REST and RESTore. Develop the qualities of compassion for your body as you methodically enhance your practice in deep relaxation. Restorative Yoga enhances flexibility, stills the mind, balances the nervous system, and enhances your mood, among many other benefits. Indulge and surrender in this Soulful practice.
This class brings you back to the basics. Teaching proper alignment within each posture, working in progression for the first time yogi's or to help you connect deeper into your practice. We encourage you to listen to your body and allow your Soul to guide you through your practice. Iyengar once said, "The pose begins when you want to leave it". This could be the beginning of a life long practice that will create comfort & ease in your body. Perfect for those starting to explore the many physical & meditative benefits and gain knowledge on how to implement Yoga's traditional breathing techniques, postural modifications for individual alignment, and the use of props making the postures accessible for every body type.
We carefully design these classes to introduce students to this classical form of Ashtanga Yoga in a safe and supportive way. The beginning of class will focus on classical breathing techniques and fundamental movements which are the core of this approach to yoga. The original sequence of Primary Series is broken down in a way that is approachable for many levels, with modifications available for each level.
The Primary Series is a set sequence of postures designed to bring strength, flexibility, and endurance to the body. It is designed to purify the body through the breath and the movement to invoke a stillness of the mind.
Yoga allows us to reduce stress and anxiety while strengthening, toning, improving flexibility, alignment, & posture. This fun flowing class incorporates the benefits of overall health and well-being with the gift of Bhakti, love and devotion to yourself and your practice. This class will give you a full heart and a sense of gratitude, as you reconnect on your mat.
